These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the agreement between you (the “Client”) and The Physio Den (“the Practice”, “we”, “us”) for physiotherapy and related services. By booking an appointment or receiving treatment, you agree to these Terms.
Services provided:
Initial Assessment
Follow-up Physiotherapy
Strength Training
Provide accurate medical history and update us on changes in health.
Follow advice, exercise programmes, and safety instructions.
Arrive on time and attend all scheduled appointments.
Inform your therapist of any pain, discomfort, or concerns during or after treatment.
Treat staff and other clients with respect.
Bookings can be made online, by phone, or in person.
Confirmation of an appointment indicates acceptance of these Terms.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or failure to attend may incur the full appointment fee.
Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
Please arrive on time. Arriving late may shorten your session.
Sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled at the therapist’s discretion if the delay is significant.
Payment is required at the time of the appointment unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods: Card, Cash, Bank Transfer.
Late payments may result in suspension of further sessions until settled.
Refunds will be provided only if appointments are cancelled by the Practice.
No refunds are offered for missed appointments or late cancellations.
Treatment may involve physical touch and therapeutic techniques; your consent will always be sought.
You must inform the therapist of any pain, discomfort, dizziness, or concerns.
We reserve the right to decline treatment if it is deemed unsafe.
By attending sessions, you provide informed consent to assessment, treatment, and exercise programmes.
Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Physiotherapy does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment from a doctor.
We may refer you to a GP or specialist if further medical review is necessary.
Any exercises prescribed must be followed carefully.
The Practice is not liable for injuries resulting from incorrect performance of exercises outside sessions.
Our therapists provide physiotherapy, assessment, rehabilitation, and strength training.
We do not provide medical treatment, prescription medication, or surgery.
Clients under 16 must attend with a parent or legal guardian.
Safeguarding procedures are followed in line with professional regulations.
All personal information is handled in accordance with GDPR.
We collect personal information for the purpose of providing physiotherapy services, maintaining treatment records, managing appointments, and billing.
Data Sharing: Your information may be shared with healthcare professionals for referral purposes, with regulatory bodies as required by law, or with professional advisors (e.g., accountants) for business operations. Your data will never be sold or shared for marketing purposes without your consent.
Security: All data is stored securely, with restricted access and encrypted where applicable.
Client Rights: You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data, and to object to its processing at any time.
All sessions and records are confidential.
Exceptions apply if there is a risk of harm or legal obligation.
Concerns or complaints should be raised with the therapist directly.
If unresolved, complaints may be escalated to professional regulatory bodies such as the CSP or HCPC.
Any client content (images, testimonials) shared publicly requires explicit consent.
Negative or defamatory content about the Practice may result in legal action.
The Practice adheres to standards set by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to clients.
